Performing to the music of Antonio Vivaldi, this year’s is show entitled: Stretched Thin, Balancing on the Tightrope. With desks and an actual tightrope on the floor representing the challenges of balance in work and life. In their 4th season competing in the MCCGA Circuit, Belleville West Varsity is thrilled with their reclassification to Scholastic A and looking forward to the remainder of the season in their new class. This year’s Seniors are all founding members of the competition winter guard.
Belleville West Varsity is under the direction of Robin Bender and band directors Scott Wilson and Michael Pond-Jones. Additional staff includes, Lucas Mueller, Alan Willingham, Kari Anderson and designer Marc Preston Moss. Belleville West would also like to extend a special thanks to Jessica Williams of Windsor HS and Jo Smith of Mascoutah HS for the use of equipment and props for both of West’s guards.
Belleville West performs next on Mar 12 at Edwardsville.
