Utilizing the unique weaving of two iconic musical pieces, “Killing Me Softly” and “Adagio for Strings” by Samuel Barber, this program takes you on the emotional journey of angst, resisting submission, and feeling pulled in all directions.
The Blue Springs Varsity Winter Guard finished 6th place in 2019 at the WGI World Championships in the Scholastic A class, and last season was the only Scholastic A team to receive a Mastery level in Virtual Finals. They are excited to take this next leap into the Open Class!
They are under the direction of Marisa Barzee. Show Designers are Lindsey Vento and Zachary Barber. Staff include Neil Higginbotham and Catherine Haynes.
