Soloists DO NOT have to be a member of a 2022 MCCGA participating unit in order to participate in Solo Competition
Choose the age group of the age you will be on the date of the performance
You may submit more than one solo each weekend, however they must be on different pieces of equipment/instrument. EXAMPLE: A guard member may submit a flag solo and a rifle solo but cannot submit two rifle solos on the same date.
Mixed Solo: defined as 2 different pieces of equipment, ie: flag and saber. A movement/rifle solo is not a mixed solo and should be entered as a Rifle solo.
You must cancel your appearance on any weekend no later than 4 WEEKS PRIOR TO THE DATE OF THE FESTIVAL by emailing FestivalChanges@mccga.org Failure to notify MCCGA prior to the 4 week deadline will result in a forfeiture of your festival fee for that weekend..
All persons must have an email contact to receive contest information. Participants under the age of 18 MUST list Parent/Guardian Information.
It is understood and agreed that the above entrant has read and agrees to comply with the rules and regulations in the Mid Continent Color Guard Association By-laws, Rules, General Contest Information and Policies Statement and the WGI Adjudication Manual and Rule Book.
It is further understood and agreed that entrant is aware of and agrees to comply with the 4-week cancellation policy as stated in the Festival Selection portion of this form.
It is further understood and agreed that the entrant accepts full liability for any act or omission by member, staff or guest of the entrant resulting in a claim(s) for damages at contest sites, and further, that entrant will hold harmless Mid Continent Color Guard Association and its agents from such claim or claims.
