MCCGA congratulates Kickapoo Gold on their promotion from Scholastic Regional A to Scholastic AA!
The Kickapoo High School Gold Winter Guard 2018 production is entitled, “Uncharted Waters” and is performed to Set Sail by Frances. Kickapoo Gold is the “JV” winter guard within the Kickapoo Color Guard program. The Kickapoo Gold guard was a silver medalist in the Regional A class at the 2017 MCCGA Circuit Championships; as well as, a finalist in the Regional A class at the WGI Springfield Regional. The 21 members of Kickapoo Gold are comprised of 5 juniors, 3 sophomores, and 13 freshmen.
The unit is directed by Sherri Peterson with assistance from Allison Adams, Lauren Flores and Haley Davis. Kickapoo Gold will be performing next on February 10th at the Ozark Winter Guard Festival.
